Information We Collect
When you register, we collect the details you submit, including your first name, email address and consent confirmation. When you place a pre-order, we also collect the customer, telephone, billing, delivery, book edition, quantity, price, tax, shipping and order-status information needed to process, fulfil and support the sale. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe and are not stored on this website. We may also collect limited technical and referral information, such as your IP address, browser information, referring page, campaign parameters and the date and time of your activity.
How We Use And Store Your Information
We use your information to manage your American VIP List registration; process, deliver and support pre-orders; keep customer and order records; prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions; and send communications where you have separately consented. As we are an Australian company, your information may be stored or processed in Australia or in other countries where our trusted service providers operate. We retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and to meet applicable legal, accounting and operational obligations.

Cookies And Affiliate Attribution
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve your browsing experience, analyze website traffic and remember when you arrived through an approved affiliate link. Affiliate attribution is retained for up to 30 days and may be used to report attributed signups and eligible book sales to that affiliate. The attribution cookie does not contain your name or email address. You can control or remove cookies through your browser settings.
Sharing And Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted providers used for payment processing, inventory and order management, delivery, website security, analytics and email delivery. Address suggestions are provided through Google Maps Platform, so address text entered into the address-search field may be processed by Google to return suggestions; you can instead enter the address manually. Approved affiliates receive aggregated or order-level sales reporting only where required to verify attributed sales and payments; card details are never provided to affiliates.
Your Choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. You may also ask us to access, update, correct or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements.
