Ken Duncan Panoramic Print
Jenne Farm, Reading, Vermont
SKU VTX448 · Edition of 300
As I travelled through the countryside around Woodstock (famous for its music festival), I came across Jenne Farm. Back in the 1990s, the location was relatively unknown and on this glorious morning, the scene was beautifully calm. Since then, this has become one of the most photographed and iconic farms in New England. Renowned for its picturesque Vermont scenery of rolling hills and red barns, it was featured in the film Forrest Gump during his cross-country run. I can understand why hordes of photographers and tourists descend upon this property when fall lavishes the location with a sea of gold. But as a private, working farm that raises beef cattle and produces maple syrup, at times it is off-limits to tourists. It was a wonderful sight to witness as the fall colors reached their crescendo and the leaves fell like confetti at a celebration.
