Whether you’re a keen photographer, or you just love exploring exciting new places, this tour will provide you with stimulation and inspiration – and, of course, outstanding photographic opportunities. In Rio de Janeiro you will stay in Copacabana – a safe and cosmopolitan part of the city with many great restaurants. And of course your visit to Rio would not be complete without photographing the giant statue of Christ set high above the city. You will photograph majestic Iguazu Falls at sunrise and at sunset because your luxury hotel is conveniently located within the park, just 500 metres from the Falls. You will also enjoy a helicopter flight over Iguazu Falls and have the opportunity to photograph from the Brazilian side and from the Argentinian side. The Pantanal wetland boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent, so be prepared for plenty of animal sightings.  You will take two jaguar safaris on the Cuiaba River to capture photos of the jaguars on the river banks.  You should also be prepared for a great variety of birds including toucans, macaws and Vitorias Regias.
From Cristalino Lodge Amazon Sanctuary, your experienced, knowledgeable local guides will take you to prime photographic locations. On your return flight to Cuiaba, you will photograph the Amazon from the air. Then you will explore the amazing phenomenon of Lencois Maranhenses National park – a vast network of green, blue and black lagoons surrounded by white sand and you will see the amazing Guaras birds coming home to roost. This incredibly diverse tour will give you a wide range of photographic opportunities.  And as part of a small group (maximum 14 participants) you will have access to 3 internationally acclaimed photographers all day, every day.  There will be also critique sessions, with the three professional photographers giving you constructive feedback on your images.  If this doesn’t help you improve your photographic skills, nothing will.

Colour Match

Every effort has been made on this Gallery site to accurately represent the vibrant colours of Ken’s images. However, due to differences in computer screens and certain other variations, the images here should only to be taken as a guide. Obviously, the colour and sharpness of a finished Ken Duncan Limited Edition Print are far superior to what can be presented on a small screen.
