This photograph is taken on the Central Coast of New South Wales, at a place aptly named Long Jetty. I call this shot �Day�s End� because to me it feels like the curtain is just about to close on the day. There are birds perched precariously on the jetty�s railing watching the last golden rays of the sun illuminating the sky. And yet, although the day is almost over, there is something about this image that is very inviting. The long jetty stretching into the lake provides an opportunity to enter right into the scene. Like a boat enticing you to step aboard, it waits and beckons as if to say, �Come, let�s embark on an adventure�.
