Description
I've had a love affair with Somersby Falls for over 30 years, so it was great to be here after heavy rain to explore some new angles. At one of the lower falls, the increased water flow created this amazing water curtain and I found I could get behind the waterfall and shoot out through the veil. I created a stitched panorama to capture the full width of the curtain. Many visitors never see this waterfall. You have to continue exploring, following Floods Creek down beyond where the normal path leads, to find this little-known sanctuary. Off to the right you can see the little path that led me here. There is something special about waterfalls. The ozone-charged air seems to invigorate you as the motion of the water soothes your soul.
