Summer in Australia – what a magical time. Just the word summertime immediately evokes feelings of fun and sun, beaches and the ocean, barbeques and parties. It’s a time of celebration which, for us, happens over the Christmas break. While people in the northern hemisphere are thinking about Santa and reindeers in the snow, we are wearing shorts and t-shirts, enjoying glorious weather and days at the beach. This aerial shot helps capture the essence of summertime in Australia. We are surrounded by water and some of the most idyllic beaches in the world, so you have to learn to swim. Perhaps this is why we have so many great swimmers and do so well in water sports.
