The beach is an important part of the Australian lifestyle and the Central Coast of NSW has some of the most beautiful beaches in our nation. While doing aerial photography, I have often flown over crowds of beach-goers enjoying themselves. On this particular day, I decided to capture some images of Aussies having fun in the sun. Hovering above the beach, secured to the helicopter by a harness, I had a unique perspective on this popular Australian pastime.
\nMany people were looking up, no doubt wondering what I was up to. With my Phase One camera, I was able to capture intricate detail, so you can clearly see the individual people. In some cases, you can even see their expressions and their activities.
